“Quality service and efficiency are the core values of our profession.”
The Secrets de Cuisine team is passionate about gastronomy and sharing this with others.
Chef turned-entrepreneur, Cedric Seguela, the founder and director of Secrets de Cuisine, left the high seas for solid ground when he founded his successful business in 2006, providing chefs world-wide for villas and ski resorts, and organising catering and special events.
Cedric saw he could use the same successful formula for yachting, and when in August 2014 the MLC 2006 brought in the requirement for the Ships’ Cook Certificate of Competency, he saw an opportunity to return to yachting by developing a training and assessment programme for the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA). Secrets de Cuisine was the first MCA approved training centre for the Assessment in Marine Cookery, and have been offering regular training and assessment programmes to yacht chefs world-wide for the past five years, along with courses for Food Safety Levels 2, 3 and 4.
The business has since expanded to include cookery and oenology courses and corporate team-building events, a one-stop-shop for chef training and recruitment, including portfolio enhancement, and assistance in galley design and supplying equipment.
The ideal premises for Secrets de Cuisine is near Antibes, with large kitchens, office, and dining area, including a showroom for a wide-range of professional culinary equipment.
The cohesion and expertise of our team reflects our in-depth understanding of the culinary world and whether you come to Secrets de Cuisine to purchase, to train or to find the right chef for your yacht or villa, it is our consummate goal to exceed your expectations.
